Now, this evening, another person has set up what can only be called the Mother of all light shows, using a public building area of, you guessed it, the Starting Island.:
Someone just started it up and LEFT IT RUNNING. Do you have any idea what this sort of display can do to slower graphics cards on slower computers?!?? Are we deliberately making things difficult for the newbies arriving on Starting Island??
It only takes a modicum of commons sense to realize that these sorts of activities can be better performed OFF of Starting Island. If we repel new users because of these childish antics, then if Cloud Party fails we have nobody to blame but ourselves. YES, we have to think of the newbie users. How would you feel about Cloud Party if you showed up, all eager to build, only to find the public sandbox looks like this??
hi, i have to say sorry for that, was my mistake. i was playing around with a particle i was creating for the build mode and i filled in one of the scale coordinates a much to high value. when this happend i couldnt find the objekt inside all these particles anymore. so i first had to find out how to deactivate the particles to find this tiny little purple cube.

The grieving has now moved to the forum. People ask sensible technical questions get distracted by nonsensical replies from other members. Unfortunately the Cloud Party team do nothing to stop this. As I result I know of many people that won't ask questions because of this. Also many log on to CP once and never come back because the feel Cloud party is putting the interest of the griefers 1st. The only hope for a properly functioning technical forum is to make a 3rd party forum where control of drama is very strict. I have put a lot of time into CP but I now feel it;s time for me to leave.
