Gypsy Paz has created a very useful little utility that allows you to create a picture with an embedded link to any Cloud Party location, which you can then place in any web page. You can find the utility and instructions on how to use it at http://gypsygadgets.com/cp/ . Thanks Gypsy!
DC Spensley has been working hard at CP's javascript-based scripting language, and for several hours yesterday he had up a temporary art installation at Public Zone 3, all tumbling jacks and translucent clouds. It's already gone, but I took some photos to share with you:
As you can see, Cloud Party is already proving itself to be a very capable palette for the artist.
Thanks Ryan!
ReplyDeleteActually there are two meta-sculptures in this image set. The first "Tumbling Jacks" is more of a grey goo type animated piece that propagates and rotates around the space in an ever widening circle. The second piece depicted is an interactive work called "Glass Bone Recursion" which reconfigures itself on clicks from the art viewer.
Special thanks to Sam, Lilly and Fritz for help on the engineering side!
Cheers,
DC
