Change Your Avatar

It is possible to retint your skin and change your shape to make some really interesting and different avatars.  I think people are really going to enjoy playing with these!

Dancing

Just putting the male avatar through its paces, I've noticed that some of the animations that were created for the old format avatars do not work as well on the new avatars.  This makes sense, of course, because they are have a slightly different skeleton than the old avatars.  You can still get some good shots, though :-)

Pumpkin Head Fun

Mochi very kindly gave me a copy of her pumpkin head.  It took a bit of fiddling with the rotation, offset, and scale parameters to make it fit, but I think it looks very Hallowe'eny!!

The falling leaves are a particle effect that somebody set up in the Beginner Zone.  We've been having fun playing in the leaves:

New Avatars Launched This Evening!!

The beta virtual world, Cloud Party, has just launched its new avatar designs, and they're looking pretty good!  Here's what the default female avatar looks like.

I will post more later, I just wanted to get this entry up quickly to alert as many people as possible.

So exciting!   Oodles and oodles of new sliders, including some that Second Life wouldn't have thought of in a million years!

Vanity Models Steampunk Fashion on Rustica

The hat and the glasses are now available from the beta Marketplace for free.  The hat is part of the Spring Outfit for sale by Lilli Thompson, and the glasses are from a set called Aura Sunglasses by AURA.

In the Marketplace: Blood Mage Outfit

There's not a lot available in the beta Marketplace yet on Cloud Party.  One unusual outfit is a Blood Mage outfit (top, pants, boots and sword) all available now for free courtesy of Wizard on the Marketplace:

There's also a hood which replaces the avatar head, to complete the outfit.  Thank you Wizard for your generosity!

Now I just need to find me a dragon to slay ;-)
